OSU/STILLWATER COMMUNITY TRANSIT SYSTEM
Profile
OSU - The Bus (OSU/Stillwater Community Transit System) began operation in August 2003. The system service area is within the established boundaries of the city limits of Stillwater. The system currently provides ten deviated routes; three on campus which provide service from student housing to various classroom building locations on campus, seven off campus routes that provide service to the community with routes extending out from our new Multi-Modal Transportation Terminal, a central starting point on campus, to route locations in the Stillwater community. The system currently has a service population of about 44,000.
OSU - BOB (Tulsa Shuttle, aka: Big Orange Bus) opened to the public in 2010. This service provides transportation between OSU-Stillwater’s Multi-Modal Transportation Terminal and the OSU-Tulsa Campus. Transfers to Tulsa Transit can be made at the OSU-Tulsa Campus with routes servicing the Greater Tulsa Area. In June 2011 Jefferson Bus Lines began a partnership with OSU-BOB to provide intercity service to Stillwater. This new route provides service to/from Tulsa and OKC via Stillwater and our Multi-Modal Transportation Terminal.
