Profile

KI BOIS Area Transit System is a rural public transportation system operating a fleet of buses and vans that transport people to Head Start, Senior Citizens Centers, grocery stores, doctor’s offices, etc. Currently, KATS provides transportation primarily in the counties of Adair, Okmulgee, Cherokee, Haskell, Hughes, Latimer, Leflore, McIntosh, Sequoyah, Pittsburg, Okfuskee and Wagoner Counties. Each of these counties have a different transportation need. KATS provides a number of services to meet these specific needs. As needs change, services are modified to meet those needs. KATS meets the ADA requirements of public transit providers. Services are available based upon availability.
