Clearance at Harvard/I-44 - Crews began clearing properties on the southeast and southwest corners of the I-44/Harvard junction in October 2008. Perryman Ditch Project (March 2009) - The Perryman Ditch project began in January 2009, and is the first construction phase of the I-44 Riverside-Yale widening project. Crews are building a massive underground drainage structure from Riverside Dr. to Yorktown Ave. Perryman Ditch Project (September 2009) - Views of the underground drainage structure construction, taken on the west side of Peoria Avenue in September 2009. This structure is between 20-30 feet underground, and about 40 feet wide. This phase began in January 2009. |
