Gilbert Central CEO's / ODOT talk about progress of bridge reconstruction

Gilbert Central CEO's from Atlanta and Ft. Worth joined by the Department of Transportation will hold a press conference Wednesday at the bridge site to discuss progress with reconstruction of the I-40 bridge.

Our apologies for inconvenience with the early press conference time, however it was chosen to accommodate Gilbert executives' busy schedules. The reason for their visit is there is a lot of activity planned for this day - a peak of activity for the project. There should be different, new visuals.

After the press conference, there will be opportunity to view, take pictures or footage of the construction site from the river bank.

Please meet at the gate on the eastbound lanes of I-40 on the west side of the river at 9 a.m. We will group there first and shuttle the media to the river bank in ODOT vans.
