Detail Information

1921 Parker thru truss bridge over Rock Creek west of Sapulpa in Creek County. Fabricated by the Concrete and Steel Construction Company as a county bridge, which became part of the 1926 Route 66 Alignment. Was bypassed by 1952 realignment of Route 66, at which time the 1926 route reverted to County ownership and maintenance. Only surviving Route 66 bridge with a brick deck. Structure 19E0706N3860000. Was determined eligible for the NRHP in 1992 by the Oklahoma Historic Bridge Survey and formally listed in 1995. Bridge is still in use to carry local traffic.
