Subject

     The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is proposing to improve US-64 east of the town of Nash in Grant County, OK. The improvements include removing and replacing 2 bridges over unnamed creeks approximately 3.5 and 5.5 miles east of the Alfalfa county line, and the construction of 5 new bridges on an offset alignment 50’ to the south of the existing alignment, from approximately 6.5 miles to approximately 7.5 miles east of the Alfalfa county line. The new alignment and structures will be constructed with 12’ driving lanes and 8’ shoulders. The improvements made to this portion of US-64 will improve safety and access to the town of Nash.


Meeting Purpose

     The Purpose of this meeting is to inform the local community about the department's upcoming proposed projects to improve the US-64 corridor just East of Nash, OK as well as any temporary road closures needed to facilitate construction.
