INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENT - I-40 & RADIO ROAD

SUBJECT:

All interested persons are hereby given notice that the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) is proposing to replace the existing I-40/Radio Road overpass in Canadian County with a full diamond interchange, and improve Radio Road to a 4 to 5-lane facility from State Highway 66 south to Jensen Road (See attached map). The purpose of the project is to improve interstate access to accommodate planned industrial land use. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in 2013.

Early agency coordination and preliminary studies relating to the beneficial and adverse social, economic and environmental impacts of the action have been completed and no significant impacts are likely to occur. This notice is being sent in lieu of holding a public meeting.

Members of the public are invited to submit comments and concerns. All comments must be in writing and received on or before the end of business on November 6, 2012.
