Public Involvement Meeting - US-59 in Watts, OK

SUBJECT:

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is proposing to improve US-59 through the town of Watts, and South toward Westville. The proposed improvements include widening the current roadway from a 2-lane to sections of 4-lane & 5-lane through the extents of the project, and the replacement of two (2) bridge structures. The proposed roadway will have 4-12 foot driving lanes and a variable center turn lane, with curb & gutter through town, and 8 foot & 10 foot paved shoulders to the North and South of town, respectively.
