Get your career off to a running start with the unique combination of on-the-job training, challenging opportunities and superior benefits offered by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT). As an ODOT engineer, you will be responsible for the planning construction and maintenance of the total transportation system in Oklahoma. The challenges are as varied as the Oklahoma terrain, but our Training Program is designed to insure your success. Entering the department as an Engineer Intern, you can be ready to take the Professional Engineer examination in four short years thanks to an on-the-job training program that provides you with the professional guidance and job experiences necessary to fulfill the demand Professional Engineer requirements. Additionally, this program will groom you to assume positions of leadership in engineering.

The minimum requirement for application to ODOT's Engineer Training Program is a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
